“The herculean form, cast in gold, conceals the vulnerability and the softness of the human form. It is heroic and statuesque, a paean to the classics. The works in Odyssey celebrate the glory and drama of these mythological giants, the symbolic nature of their feats and the transcendence of their stories through time.” -Odyssey by Giuliano Bekor
As many of you know, Giuliano has been busy (in his nonexistent downtime) creating some amazing personal work over the last few years, and his fine art is really taking off. With upcoming shows all over the globe and new projects in the works…well, let’s just say it’s an exciting time to be at Lightbox.
One of Giuliano’s series, Odyssey, is being featured in a show at the Geras Tousignant Gallery in San Francisco, with an opening reception on May 10th. If you are going to be in or around the San Francisco area next Friday and would like to attend the show, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org – space is limited! The show will be on display until June 19th, so even if you can’t make the opening, we’d love for you to pop in and take a look!
Hope to see you there!
