The May 2012 Cover of Elle Canada features everyone’s favorite funny lady, Cobie Smulders, shot by world-renowned photographer, Giuliano Bekor. Wearing a quirky and colorful design by Stella McCartney in L.A.’s Redbury Hotel, the striking Canadian proves that she’s got more than an amazing sense of humor. Known best for her role in the hit television series, How I Met Your Mother, Smulders is poised to hit the silver screen.
Smulders stars in the latest Marvel comic movie adaptation, The Avengers, playing S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill. The greatly anticipated movie will be released to theatres on May 4, 2012.

Hollywood’s hottest actress, Alison Brie posed for the April Cover of Elle Canada shot by master photographer, Giuliano Bekor. Wearing a feminine silhouette from Vera Wang on the roof at the Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, the SAG Award winning Mad Men and Community star practically glows in an outfit incorporating a classic old Hollywood look.
So what’s next for this talented 29 year-old? She can be seen in theaters alongside Emily Blunt and Jason Segel in the comedy The 5 Year Engagement out April 27th, as well as Adventures of the Dunderheads, which will be released late 2012.

In October, Rosie O’Donnell launched her new show, The Rosie Show, on OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network). To welcome the show’s host to Chicago, Michigan Avenue decided to feature the cities newest resident in the December issue. The next step was to find a photographer and that’s when Giuliano packed his bags and went to Chicago.
Despite the rainy weather outside, Giuliano took advantage of the gorgeous natural lighting and captured Rosie’s natural personality.
