With the Cannes Film Festival beginning today, we felt it was a perfect time to debut our shoot with Vanessa Johansson. Channeling Audrey Hepburn for a classic and timeless photo shoot, Vanessa, the sister of The Avengers star, Scarlett Johansson, stunned us with her own beauty as she debuted a glamorous vintage Hollywood look. Reminiscent of Florence “Cleo” Victoire, who roams through the breath-taking city of Paris in the classic film “Cleo from 5 to 7″ (one of the digitally remastered films featured at the Cannes Film Festival this year), Vanessa maintains the Parisian spirit with grace and elegance. Using projections of the “the city of lights,” the actress – wearing Miu Miu and Montalvo Tailor – made the artistic vision which served as a tribute to the Cannes Film Festival as they pay homage to the best of the past.
When it comes to photography everything in the shot is equally as important – the wardrobe, the lighting, the subject, and of course the set, filled with props and furniture. We recently shot William Moseley, star of The Chronicles of Narnia perched on a 17th century traveling iron trunk.
Habité Decor is located near the intersection of Beverly and La Brea in Los Angeles, California. They have been collecting and importing furniture, lighting and architectural elements from the 16th century up to the 1980′s. Their selection is outstanding and we are so happy to work with them for many of our Lightbox Studio shoots.

Glamorous, sexy and seductive – Giuliano Bekor shot this phenomenal editorial Carnal Needs for Kurv Magazine. “The theme of the shoot centered around the sexual awakening in a fashion sense, of a chic, beautiful woman as she encounters two impossibly beautiful men.” Drenched in couture Oscar De La Renta gowns, Badgley Mischka jewels, and extravagant Chanel hats Giuliano captured the progression of a woman’s fantasy life.
I am proud of the new work that has unfolded from my imagination. Visit my fine art website to see what this artistic vision has created.
Lightbox Studio was a very handsome place to be yesterday as actors Glen Powell, Taylor Handley, William Moseley, and Jonny Weston posed in tailored suits and designer jeans. The boys conquered the studio with their high energy that inspired and motivated an amazing photo shoot. Thank you to everyone that helped with the shoot.
The last couple of days have been spent editing some never before released photos.
The vibe?
Deep, dark, and full of uninhibited emotion.
As we head into the summer season I decided to combine a few of my favorite images from past shoots into one summer inspired post. Everything from landscape shots in Oahu to the Caribbean - capturing the glistening waters and colossal palm trees. Beautiful models in barely there bikinis on the warm sand is a joy to shoot.
